Thabiso Lapi was borin in Thabong, Welkom and started practising art in Letsete Secondary School.

Now that he has completed his N4 diploma specialising in painting, ceramics, drawing, entrepreneurship and business management at Motheo TVET College, he is studying history of art at the same institution.
